Earth quakes are really disastrous. be it Haiti or Kachchh, in India (26/01/2001) or Sumatra December 2006. In just few second every thing turns to be rubble. And if one is not careful in escaping the building, may have to loose life.

I am from Kachchh and I have very bad memory of 26/01/2001 earth quake here ! Luckily all of my relatives survived and no casualty in my family.

On the said day I was having breakfast with my wife on dinning table and suddenly ever thing started shaking...! But as I knew that I am living in a Earth quake sensitive zone 5, I immediately understood that this is an earth quake. I called my wife who had gone to kitchen. and we ran down to ground floor from first floor. On the stare case I lost balance but taking care I ran any how ! It was very powerful shaking and hence it was very difficult to stand on ground ! I constantly prayed God to save my building....and it did survive !

There after we had lots of after shocks some minor and some really powerful....!

I pray God please do not give troubles in form of earth quake to any one .
